The simplest and often least expensive way of replacing teeth is the denture. Your dentist will be able to advise which type of denture base (acrylic or chrome-cobalt metal) would be more appropriate for you.

In either case acrylic teeth, carefully chosen for shape and colour will be set in (normally) gum-colour acrylic.

Where all teeth are missing full dentures can be provided to restore function and aesthetics.

How to Maintain Your Dentures

• You can use a specially designed denture brush to clean your dentures
• Keep your dentures in a container of denture-cleaning solution or water when not wearing them
• Only soak your dentures in warm water and NOT in hot water
• Use approved cleaning tablets once a week to kill the bacteria, which can cause odour
